This February, we are delighted to announce the forthcoming launch of our platform’s flagship journal, touchREVIEWS in Dermatology.
The journal will be led by two outstanding Editors-in-Chief, whose breadth of expertise and international perspectives will be instrumental in shaping its vision: Professor Tiago Torres (Porto, Portugal) and Professor Raj Chovatiya (Chicago, IL, USA).
We are honoured to welcome them both, and hope you will join us in wishing them every success in their new roles.
A message from our Editors-in-Chief
Tiago Torres
Professor of Dermatology, Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar, University of Porto, Portugal
“It is both an honour and a challenge to serve as Co-Editor-in-Chief, alongside Raj Chovatiya, at a time of rapid evolution in our field. Dermatology is experiencing unprecedented scientific and therapeutic progress, and it is essential that this innovation be translated into clinically meaningful, accessible, and trusted knowledge for healthcare professionals worldwide.
My priority is to strengthen the journal’s position as a reliable source of high-quality, peer-reviewed content that is scientifically rigorous and directly relevant to daily clinical practice. We aim to highlight advances across clinical and translational dermatology while ensuring that published work ultimately supports improved patient outcomes, equity in care, and global knowledge exchange.
I am particularly committed to fostering engagement from the dermatology community, including clinicians, researchers, authors, and reviewers, to create a dynamic platform that reflects diverse perspectives and promotes thoughtful discussion. Together, we can continue building a journal that informs practice, supports professional development, and contributes meaningfully to the advancement of dermatologic care.”
Raj Chovatiya
Associate Professor, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science Chicago Medical School, Chicago, IL, USA

Together with clinicians, researchers, and educators, I look forward to advancing high-impact, practice-changing scholarship and cultivating an engaged global community of readers, authors, and reviewers.”
