Tiago Torres is Professor of Dermatology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar, University of Porto, Portugal. He received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, completed a residency program in Dermatology and Venereology at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto (CHUP), and finished his PhD thesis in 2014 studying the role of psoriasis-associated systemic inflammation in atherosclerosis. Dr Shawn Kwatra is the Joseph W. Burnett Endowed Professor and Chairman of Dermatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, USA. He is an internationally renowned dermatologist and clinical leader in skin of colour research, as well as chronic inflammatory skin diseases, including atopic dermatitis, prurigo nodularis, and chronic pruritus of unknown origin. Dr Kwatra also has expertise in managing cutaneous adverse events associated with immunotherapy. Laurent Misery, PhD, MD, is a Professor of Dermatology and Venerology at the University of Brest, and Head of the Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital of Brest and the French Expert Centre on Pruritus. He founded and is the Lead of the Laboratory Interactions Neurons-Keratinocytes at the University of Brest, where his research interests lie in itch. His team is dedicated to investigating itch, from its fundamental aspects (biological and physiological) to pathophysiological, clinical, psychological and therapeutic aspects. He is especially interested in the relationship between skin and the nervous system, from the biological point of view (co-cultures between skin cells and neurons) to the clinical (pruritus, sensitive skin) or psychological points of view.
An author of a number of peer-reviewed articles, he received the Herman Musaph Award in 2017, and is currently the President of the European Society for Dermatology and Psychiatry (ESDaP).

Professor Dedee Murrell completed medical training at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, 3 years of internal medicine in the UK and USA, dermatology training at UNC-Chapel Hill, a fellowship in dermatopharmacology at Duke, blistering diseases and cell biology at New York University, and then became a clinical scholar at Rockefeller University. She holds a doctorate on the pathogenesis of blistering disorders, her main subspecialty interest, and her current research focusses on the development and validation of clinical outcome measures for autoimmune blistering diseases and epidermolysis bullosa to enable clinical trials to proceed in these orphan diseases. William Damsky, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Yale School of Medicine and board-certified dermatologist and dematopathologist. In clinical practice, he specializes in evaluation and treatment of patients with inflammatory skin disorders, especially cutaneous granulomatous diseases such as sarcoidosis and granuloma annulare. Dr. Damsky is interested in the identification and evaluation of new treatment approaches for inflammatory skin disease and conducts clinical trials in this area. As a physician-scientist with training in basic immunology, Dr. Damsky’s laboratory leverages the latest immunologic approaches to understand mechanisms of inflammatory skin disease and how they are affected by novel therapies. Dr. Damsky’s research has been supported by Career Development Awards from the Dermatology Foundation and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). He was awarded the 2020 Young Investigator Award by the American Academy of Dermatology for his research in novel therapeutics for sarcoidosis.

Dr. David Rosmarin is the Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Indiana University and a clinical investigator. He previously served as Vice-Chair for Research and Education at Tufts Medical Center focusing on clinical trials for inflammatory disorders of the skin. For his training, Dr. Rosmarin went to medical school at NYU, dermatology residency at Boston University-Tufts Combined training program, and fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Rosmarin joined Tufts Medical Center in 2013 focusing as a clinical trial investigator. In 2016, Dr. Rosmarin became the Director of the Clinical Trials Unit in the Department of Dermatology at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Rosmarin’s studies have resulted in him becoming the PI for multicentered trials evaluating topical ruxolitinib in vitiligo, which has led to the first ever FDA indication for repigmenting vitiligo. Dr. Rosmarin is the first to use dupilumab for bullous pemphigoid which is now in a phase 3 program for an indication. Clinically Dr. Rosmarin is nationally recognized and serves as a referral for physicians with difficult to manage inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis. Dr. Rosmarin educates medical students, residents, and research fellows. He served as Residency Program Director from 2016 to 2020 in which time he expanded the Tufts Medical Residency Program from nine positions to twelve residents and mentors faculty in education and research.

Dr Melinda Gooderham, MSc, MD, FRCPC, is a dermatologist and Medical Director at the SKiN Centre for Dermatology, and an investigator with Probity Medical Research in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. She is also an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University and a Consultant Physician at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr Gooderham has been an investigator in over 200 clinical trials, with a focus on inflammatory skin diseases.

Professor Emek Kocatürk is a Professor at the Department of Dermatology, Koç University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey. Prof. Kocatürk is Head of the Outpatient Care Unit for UCARE, ACARE and ADCARE Centers. Prof. Kocatürk had an observership on urticaria and allergic skin disorders in the Department of Dermatology and Allergy, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 2008. She has been running urticaria specialty clinics since 2007, which became GA²LEN Urticaria Centers of Reference and Excellence in 2017 first in Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, then Koç University Hospital, in Istanbul.
Prof. Kocatürk’s research focuses on the treatment of urticaria, urticaria in pregnancy and lactation, urticarial vasculitis as well as measurement of quality of life impairment and use of patient reported outcomes in urticaria and angioedema. She has numerous publications on urticaria as well as other dermatological conditions. Her clinical emphasis is on urticaria, angioedema, atopic dermatitis, chronic pruritus and contact dermatitis.
Prof. Kocatürk is a Board Member of the Urticaria Network e.V. (UNEV), member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, European Society for Contact Dermatitis and Secretary of the Dermatological Allergy Taskforce of the Turkish Dermatology Society. Prof. Kocatürk is also a Steering Committee Member of the UCARE Level Up programme.
Prof. Kocatürk completed her thesis at the Department of Dermatology, Göztepe Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul in 2004. Prof. Kocatürk acquired the degree of Associate Professor in 2012 and became Head of the Dermatology Department in Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul in 2013. She received a professorship degree in 2021 and works as a lecturer, clinician and researcher in Koç University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology in Istanbul.

Dr. Vimal Hasmukh Prajapati completed his dermatology residency at the University of Alberta, earning certification in both Canada and the United States. He then pursued an additional one-year fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Prajapati has received 20 major awards at the regional and national level, authored one textbook chapter, published 108 peer-reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals, and presented 172 abstracts at scientific congresses regionally, nationally, and internationally. He also conducts clinical trials for adults and children, participating in 132 studies as an investigator and/or member of the global data monitoring or steering committee.
Dr. Prajapati is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary and co-founder and co-director of the Skin Health & Wellness Centre, Dermphi Centre, Dermphi Shop, and Dermatology Research Institute. His practice focuses exclusively on skin cancer and immune-mediated inflammatory diseases, specifically atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, as well as alopecia areata and vitiligo. Dr. Prajapati has also been appointed as a Councilor for the International Eczema Council (IEC) and International Psoriasis Council (IPC).

Dr. Niraj Parajuli is an Associate Professor and the current Head of Department in Department of Dermatology & venereology at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital under the Ministry of Health and Population in Nepal. His expertise spans various dermatological domains, including neglected tropical diseases, rare skin conditions, and digital innovations including teledermatology.
He is engaged in global dermatology in various capacities such as Vice-Chair for the NTD NGO Network -Skin Cross Cutting group and MENTOR for International Alliance for Global Health Dermatology (GLODERM). He is also member of the International Alliance for the Control of Scabies (IACS).
He is Founding President of Rare Skin Disease Nepal (RSDN). He has also served as General Secretary for Society of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists of Nepal (SODVELON) from 2023 to 2025. He is the recipient of the “Young Dermatologist International Awards 2025” presented by the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS).

Fernando Valenzuela, MD, is a Chilean dermatologist and academic with extensive experience in inflammatory and immune-mediated skin diseases, particularly psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, phototherapy, and immunodermatology. He is Professor of Dermatology at the University of Chile and Universidad de los Andes, where he is actively involved in clinical care, teaching, research, and the training of future dermatologists.
Dr. Valenzuela has contributed to more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications and several dermatology book chapters. He has also participated in numerous clinical trials, with a strong focus on advancing evidence-based care and improving outcomes for patients with chronic dermatologic diseases. His academic work combines clinical expertise with a commitment to translational research, patient-centered care, and regional collaboration across Latin America.
He is an International Psoriasis Council Councilor, an International Eczema Council Councilor, and a former President of the Latin American Psoriasis Society. He also serves as Medical Director of PADECE, a Chilean patient association dedicated to supporting people living with dermatologic diseases.
Beyond his academic and clinical roles, Dr. Valenzuela is committed to medical education, scientific collaboration, and improving access to high-quality dermatologic care in Chile and Latin America.

Allergic and immunologic conditions, dermatitis, itch, and photodermatology.

Francisco J. Navarro-Triviño, MD, is a Consultant Dermatologist at Hospital Universitario San Cecilio in Granada, Spain, with an academic affiliation to the University of Granada. His clinical and research work focuses on inflammatory and allergic skin diseases, with particular expertise in atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, chronic hand eczema, chronic pruritus and prurigo, and chronic spontaneous urticaria, as well as photodermatology.
He is actively involved in clinical research, including investigator-initiated studies and participation in clinical trials, with a growing body of peer-reviewed publications in international dermatology journals. His work aims to bridge the gap between pathophysiological mechanisms and real-world clinical practice, with special interest in improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
Dr Navarro-Triviño is a member of the European Society of Contact Dermatitis, the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and the Grupo Español de Fotobiología. He also serves as a reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals.
His professional interests include advancing medical education, fostering international collaboration, and translating emerging evidence into practical approaches for the management of chronic inflammatory skin diseases.

Vitiligo, paediatric dermatology, outcome measures, and pychodermatology

Prof. Viktoria Eleftheriadou is a Consultant Dermatologist and the Lead for the Vitiligo Clinic and Research for adult and paediatric patients at Walsall Healthcare & The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trusts.
She frequently presents at national and international conferences. Currently, she leads several national and international projects such as the Global Vitiligo Atlas (GLOVA Co-Director), which is a project of the International league of Dermatological Societies (ILDS). She is a Clinical Professor at the Institute for Global Research and Wellbeing, School of Medicine, Keele University. She has been awarded multiple awards from the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).

Dermatopathology and Diagnostics

Dr Jonathan Ho is a Lecturer in Dermatology and Dermatopathology at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus, Jamaica, and a Voluntary Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami. He is the Director of the dermatology residency program and Director of Dermatopathology at UWI. His clinical work focuses on in-patient dermatology, complex medical dermatology and wounds, particularly in richly pigmented populations. Dr Ho is passionate about clinicopathologic collaboration and dermatology education. He is the immediate past president of the Dermatology Association of Jamaica (DAJ) and represents the DAJ as a Skin of Color Society Global Council Member.

Inflammatory skin conditions, psychodermatology, and digital health

Dr. Maria-Angeliki Gkini completed her dermatology training at Barts Health NHS Trust in London, where she developed an interest in inflammatory skin and hair diseases. She further pursued her clinical and research interests in Athens, Greece and in New York City, USA at Mount Sinai. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
Currently, she works as a Consultant Dermatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust, London and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University, London, UK. She is running the specialist psoriasis, atopic dermatitis clinics as well as the specialist hair clinic. Her special interests include inflammatory skin and hair diseases, advanced therapies (biologics and small molecules) and psychodermatology. Apart from her clinical work, Dr Gkini has an interest in clinical research and she has been a principal investigator and sub-investigator in multiple multicenter studies. She has significant teaching experience, including teaching at the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary University in London.
