We are delighted to announce that Professor Luis FC Ensina has joined the Expert Faculty of touchDERMATOLOGY. A distinguished allergologist, Professor Ensina is renowned for his expertise in urticaria, drug allergies and angioedema. His extensive contributions to clinical care, research and education have established him as a global leader in allergy and immunology.

Expert Faculty, urticaria, drug allergies and angioedema Luis EnsinaAs a Professor of the Division of Allergy, Clinical Immunology, and Rheumatology at the Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil, and coordinator of its urticaria, angioedema, drug allergy and mast cell diseases outpatient clinic, Professor Ensina has played a pivotal role in advancing patient care and medical knowledge in the field.

In addition to his academic role, Professor Ensina leads Alergoalpha/CPAlpha, a private allergy clinic and clinical research unit recognized as a Center of Excellence for Urticaria (UCARE), Angioedema (ACARE), and Atopic Dermatitis (ADCARE). At Alergoalpha, he has overseen and participated in over 20 phase III/IV clinical trials focused on asthma, rhinitis, urticaria, and atopic dermatitis. His prolific research career includes over 100 peer-reviewed publications and contributions to more than 15 books and book chapters, furthering advancements in the field worldwide.

Professor Ensina is also the founder of the Brazilian Urticaria Network (RUBRA) and an active member of several leading international organizations, including the Global Allergy and Asthma Excellence Network (GA2LEN), the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), and the Latin-American Society of Allergy and Immunology (SLAAI). Through these affiliations, he continues to drive innovation and shape the future of allergy and immunology on a global scale.
